Stark County Catholic Elementary Schools Academics

Stark County Catholic Elementary Schools offer academic excellence with small class sizes and personalized attention. With a 17:1 average student-teacher ratio and strong partnerships with families and educators, students achieve their personal best.

Technology
Elementary schools offer 1:1 technology, smartboards, technology labs and dedicated tech teachers. In-school media centers enhance student learning by combining library services with technology.

STEM
To strengthen our STEM mission, school faculty participate in a diocesan STEM Cohort. The SAMM Center (Science & Math on the Move) and generous funding for math and science boost inquiry-based instruction. Students extend learning through outdoor experiences and STEM partnerships.

Academic Achievement and Support
Testing shows that our students experience continued academic growth. On Ohio's Third Grade Reading Guarantee the passage rate is 99 percent. Students reach their full potential through the support of tutors, classroom aides, special needs services, ninth grade credit opportunities and gifted programs.

Academic Competition and Enrichment
Our students regularly qualify for district, state and national levels in Power of the Pen, Math Counts, Geography Bee, Spelling Bee, Science Fair and more. Students are engaged in after school programming that reinforces classroom learning: Lego Club, Robotics, STEM Club, Homework Club, service, the arts, and athletics.
