“We are so proud to be part of this community for over 100 years,” St. Paul School Principal Amie Hale said in a news release.

NORTH CANTON In celebration of the school’s 100th year anniversary, St. Paul Catholic School students went into the community Monday to do 100 acts of service.

School administrators wanted to find a way to thank the North Canton community for its support and committing acts of service seemed like a good fit.

“We are so proud to be part of this community for over 100 years,” St. Paul School Principal Amie Hale said in a news release. “St. Paul School has been dedicated to serving its community, preparing many of the leaders of our community, and making a difference in Stark County and beyond for a century now, and we look forward to continuing this tradition for another 100 plus years.”

Among the acts: First-graders walked to the North Canton Police Department and Zion Church to deliver ‘thank-you’ cards and cookie trays and second-graders went to the North Canton fire station to wash the trucks.

St. Paul School is a private, faith-based school that serves students from preschool to eighth grade and is part of Stark County Catholic Schools.
