Last week a group of Central Catholic and St. Thomas Aquinas students were selected to attend a special luncheon and science lab dedication at Walsh University. Nathan Chappie, Paul Palaski, Ian Paul, Lexi Perretta, Ella Salvino, Michael Stangl, Riley Thole, Paul Thorp, and Michael Watters, from CCHS, and Maria Walsh, America Villegas-Camacho, Orlasia Hunter, Marcus Miller, and Ava Soehnlen, from STA, met with Walsh's science faculty and learned about the Shimadzu Partnership for Academics, Research, and Quality of Life (SPARQ) Program, which provided the University with a new suite of scientific equipment. The program promotes scientific discovery and advancing innovative uses of technology in the workforce. It was an educational and engaging experience for our students!
