Congratulations to the 7th grade boys' basketball team at St. Thomas Aquinas on winning the Portage Trail League Championship! This talented team is coached by Mr. Zach Kauffman, a middle school teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas. The team finished the season with an impressive 13-3 record.
On Monday, February 12th, they played Lake Center Christian at South East High School. The game was intense, with both teams playing well throughout all four quarters. However, the game-winning shot was made by 7th grader, Mario Manningham, who made an incredible buzzer-beater half-court shot. The final score was 50-51, in favor of St. Thomas Aquinas! Congratulations to the 7th-grade boys and Coach Kauffman on their well-deserved victory!
